I just found a fork under the rug.

Right. I have this theory, right? And it's about Harry Potter, which I sometimes have theories about and don't often talk about at all. But the point is... if you haven't read Half Blood Prince (though for heaven's sake why wouldn't you have, you're probably the only one, I mean I think probably the orphaned illiterates in Zimbabwe have probably read it by now, why haven't you?) you might not want to continue to peruse this entry. Or if you just don't like Harry Potter in the first place, which is incredibly understandable, you might want to skip along to the end bit, where there might be an Amusing Change of Subject.

But anyway. My theory. It's quite simple, really. And it has to do with the Marauders. Because everything HP that I spend much time thinking about tends to deal with the Marauders or Snape or Draco or Both or All The Above or somesuch.

But really, it goes something like this.
And Rowling did create Harry Potter, and saw that this was good.
Then did she off his parents, and saw that this, too, while horridly twisted, was good.
And then Rowling did speak, and when Rowling spoke the canons quaked in fear. And speaking, Rowling did say "Let there be Companions to the Tragic Parents." And lo, there were Companions to James and Lily, though mostly to James, as Lily apparently does not Justly Deserve a proper backstory and has an Evil Sister already.
And the Companions to James were called Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew. And Rowling saw this, and said this was good.
But lo, Rowling decided that the Companions to James needed a catchy name, and thus spoke thusly; "May they be called the Marauders." And so, Sirius, Remus, Peter, and James were dubbed the Marauders and were also given the nicknames of Padfoot, Moony, Wormtail, and Prongs.
And Rowling saw that this was good.
But lo, Rowling needed a Traitor in Their Midst, and so twisted Peter into the form of a rat, thus subjecting him to Ridicule and Ridiculous Puns forever. And, for some reason, Rowling said this was good.
But still Rowling found the Marauders lacking, and thus she created in Black a True and Loyal Friend Injustly Wronged, and sent him to Azkaban to be tortured. And she called this good.
But still yet she found the Marauders lacking, and so gifted Remus with a terrible burden of Inner Conflict and Angst, namely transforming him into the form of a Werewolf. And Rowling said it was good.
But then, in the throws of Authorial Power and Plot Contrivances and Control, Rowling offed Sirius tragically, and looking upon this action she said "Oh bugger. James is dead, Peter's a traitor, Sirius is dead, and I've only the one Marauder left."
And, realizing the Love which her Loyal Readers held for the Marauders, Rowling said "Let there be a Happy Ending for Remus," for she feared that without one her Loyal Readers would rebel.
So Rowling cast her eye to the characters under her domain, and lo Rowling's eye was attracted to the shiny, namely Tonks' bright pink hair.
And lo did Rowling see Tonks' hair and find in Tonks a perfect Happy Ending for Remus, and thus threw the werewolf and the young auror upon the train tracks of love. And looking upon her work, she did proclaim it was a good save.
And the Loyal Readers did fail to do any more than Bemoan and Mourn this most inept union, and continued to Purchase the Highly Priced Merchandice and Give Free Marketing with their Great Internet Fixation.
And seeing this, Rowling said it was good and continued on to the last book, for as long as Money Was Coming the plausability Meant Nothing.

In other news, I was talking to Mom while we were waiting for PotC2 to begin, as that's about the only time we ever talk about any sort of fandom, and somehow we reached the topic of HP. And she quite agrees with me on the entire Remus/Tonks vs. Remus/Sirius thing. She too failed to notice the 'Signs' in OotP that lead to Remus/Tonks, even upon rereading after HBP. And she agreed that it seemed like at least a horribly botched job.

END OF HARRY POTTER TALK

I actually enjoy my sunday school class... We sit there and talk, my mom, dad, and I, with Steve and Steve's brother, and occassionally Cathy, about anything and everything we want to. Just pick a topic and go with it. Mom picked and researched one this week... We didn't really talk about it much. Did talk about evolution and such, though. That was fun. And humorous. We also talked about a lot of other random topics, which was good. And interesting. I wish I'd switched classes much earlier, as this one's much more tolerable than the other was. I want to do something about comparitive theologies, but I don't think I'm going to be able to get them to do it before I leave... *sigh* Alas. It would've been fun. If only to mess with their heads.

My parents probably decided they weren't going to take me with them for pizza, since I didn't stay for church. Bah. Like we have anything to eat here.

Horribly Nonserious Notes I Took Several Sundays Back During Class:
ON ADAM AND EVE AND ALL THAT MESS

God: Liek oh noes! ur total marysus! begone! go! i make you normal peoplz of actuall character!!!11!!!!1!
Adam and Eve: oh noes! woe to us! *angst*

And thus the first story was redone so that the characters were not Perfect and Boring. So nyeh.

All the below stories revolve around the lives of Kit, Hawk, Jed, and Rumor, though primarily Kit, and were written from prompts given in the [info]thefirstline community. This is not, I repeat, this is not the order they were written in, but in the order that the storyline took place. They are most definitely not all in the same style, tense, or person.
